About Craig Zuckerman

Craig Zuckerman has spent over forty years perfecting his craft as a medical illustrator and animator, benefiting his clients with outstanding results. Initially determined to study psychology, he switched gears to study medical illustration at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Observing that the airbrush was the tool of choice in the industry, he set upon learning all he could, developing his technical skills, as well as developing a keen sense of color. Keeping in mind his artist influences, from illustrators in the Golden age of illustration to contemporary artists, he gained recognition as an outstanding illustrator.

Needing to adapt to emerging technologies, he pivoted from traditional media to working digitally. Years before on-line tutorials, he had to rely on his own efforts
to learn the skills needed to succeed. After many years, he also added 2D and 3D medical animation to his skill set. These animations helped Biotech and Pharma companies explain the mechanism of actions of their drugs to patients and doctors.
